- 2 shots of espresso 2 fluid ounces or ¼ cup or strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup of milk of choice dairy, unsweetened almond, soy or oat
- 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- ½ tablespoon pure maple syrup or more, to taste
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin spice
- Ice cubes
Pour milk and espresso into the jug of a standup blender. Add pumpkin puree, maple syrup and pumpkin spice.
Blend on medium speed for 10 seconds until frothy.
Place ice cubes in a pint glass and pour the pumpkin latte over it.
Serve on its own or topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
For best results make the espresso at least 10 minutes before preparing your iced latte so it’s not too hot and won’t melt the ice immediately.
If you like a stronger pumpkin flavor, increase the amount of pumpkin puree to 3 tablespoons. You can also increase pumpkin pie spice to ½ teaspoon.
Add more maple syrup if you like your coffee sweet.
