Air Fryer Falafel

This easy falafel recipe can be made in the air fryer or baked in the oven. Using canned chickpeas saves a lot of time and effort yet the falafel patties come out soft and fluffy inside, crispy on the outside and super flavorful. They are great in wraps, pitas, salads and bowls.

Made with canned chickpeas, onion, garlic, fresh herbs and spices.

Start by chopping onion and garlic in the food processor.

Add fresh parsley, cilantro and spices.

Add drained and dried canned chickpeas.

Chop roughly until chunky dough forms.

Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Form 12 balls or patties.

Air fry for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
