How to Make a Copycat Starbucks Egg White Wrap at Home
- Step 1: Heat oil in a medium sized skillet. Add chopped spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Season with garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes on medium low - medium heat.
- Step 2: Pour egg whites over the spinach mixture and cover the pan. Cook until eggs are set.

- Step 3: Carefully transfer the omelette from the skillet and place in the middle of the wrap. Sprinkle with feta cheese and grated mozzarella, drizzle a little hot sauce (if using) and fold the lavash like a burrito.

- Step 4: Place in a preheated air fryer or a non-stick skillet and cook for a few minutes until warmed up and starting to brown lightly.

- Step 5: Cut in half and enjoy with more hot sauce, if you like!
Substitutions and Variations
- Add roasted red peppers
- Swap feta for goat cheese
- Whole eggs version (kid-friendly)
- Dairy-free cheese
- Add your favorite hot sauce - I like Cholula or Frank’s Red Hot
Storage and Meal Prep Tips
Make ahead option: Chop the fresh spinach and sun-dried tomatoes in advance and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also cook the egg white omelette ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours.
Storage: Once assembled, the wrap can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours, though the texture will be slightly softer. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or place in an air tight container
Reheating: Reheat in a skillet or air fryer until warmed through. Avoid using the microwave oven, which tends to make the egg whites rubbery and the wrap soggy.

How to Make It Taste Like Starbucks
- Add a cream cheese layer: I usually skip this because the feta and mozzarella provide plenty of creaminess on their own. But if you want a closer Starbucks-style flavor, spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the lavash (or tortilla) before adding the egg whites.
- Keep the vegetables separate: In the Starbucks version, the spinach isn’t cooked directly into the eggs. I’ve tested both methods, and while cooking everything together is easier and still delicious, you can cook the egg whites separately and layer the spinach and sun-dried tomatoes directly onto the wrap for a more authentic copycat approach.
- Don’t overcook the egg whites: Turn off the heat as soon as the egg whites are just set. Overcooking will make them rubbery instead of soft and fluffy.
- Go easy on browning: You only need a minute or two in the air fryer or skillet, just enough to melt the cheese and lightly crisp the edges without drying out the wrap.
More Tips & Tricks
- Make sure the skillet you are using is smaller than the lavash.
- You can use a large flour tortilla in place of lavash bread
- I use liquid egg whites. If you prefer to use regular eggs, separate egg whites from yolks to make ½ cup (you will need about 4 eggs).
- Liquid egg whites tend to stick to the pan. Make sure your skillet is non-stick and use some oil (or cooking spray) to prevent sticking.
- If you want a version that emulates the Starbucks wrap more, spread a little cream cheese on the lavash (or tortilla) before adding eggs and cheese.
- Sundried tomatoes packed in olive oil work best for this recipe but if you prefer, you can use the dried kind and rehydrate them in water.
Recipe FAQs
Yes, you can use whole eggs. In fact, my kids prefer the whole egg version.
A lavash flatbread or a large tortilla. Lavash is much more pliable and folds better than other wraps. Low carb or whole wheat tortillas are also okay.
